We believe that the Bible is the infallible, perfect Word of God, and therefore totally sufficient to solve the problems of all people who submit to its counsel. No difficulty lies outside the scope of the power of Scripture (Col. 1:28, 2 Pt. 1: 3). As Christ’s glory is the great theme of the Bible (Jn. 5:29), we hold fast to Him as our only and sufficient Savior, and as the Source of all true wisdom (Col. 2:2-3). Therefore we do not mix our counsel with secular psychology (Col. 2:8-10), nor do we refer the needy to secular therapists. We are a Gospel-centered ministry.
We believe that family problems are rooted in people's sinful choices. In reality, human beings do not have emotional, financial, or marriage problems as such, but rather spiritual problems at the root of all. Since such problems are spiritual problems, they require a spiritual remedy. It is vain to recommend physical remedies, such as pills, for spiritual problems. Difficulties in the family can be solved only when people are saved from their sins by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and when they draw near to God through His Word. Such honorable behavior is called being "full of the Holy Spirit”, and is essential to the spiritual health of the family (Eph. 5:18-6:4).
We believe that in a world of lies, the local church is the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15), and responsible for the propagation of said truth. Liberation from the power of sin is possible through the truth-proclaiming ministry of the local church (Jn. 8:32; 17:17). We work alongside pastors and key lay leaders to train them in the all-important area of crisis counseling. We implement personal and small group counseling settings, whose end is to bring people the Christ and His local church.
